We can infer that Abigail had something to do with Hale coming to the Proctors house to take Elizabeth away. There is history between Abigail and John which is why Abigail would do anything to get rid of Elizabeth. Which would probably make sense for her to use the poppet that Marry was making as an excuse to tell people and get her arrested.

All of a sudden now Abigail has turned from this nice sweet girl who was telling Parris what her and her friends did in the forest to this horrible violent girl hitting one of her friends. Her act of violence and leadership all of a sudden could be foreshadowing something that may happen soon. It may also be because she is scared to she masks her fears with violence. What ever it is I can now infer that she has many personalities and may do what ever she has to, to get what she wants.
